Film Review: Hanapbuhay

Hanapbuhay, talks about how a regular employee and family-provider finds a way of getting his income better for his children.

REALISTIC: I find it realistic at certain points. First, that there are employees who do seemingly absurd actions. Second, there are families that have not enough to get them by. Third, that sometimes, people can be selfish. Fourth, that it did not set aside the influence of the children's family life to their young minds and attitudes.

ORIGINALITY: So far, this is the first film that I have seen that has this concept.

I was personally amazed by how the revelation of his job in the end was revealed, that scenes made sense in the end and that children were excited by the thought of death because they know what their father’s job is.
